This gorgeous vintage china adjustable ring was created from a beautiful serving platter by Lenox in their "Columbia" pattern, a part of their Presidential Collection. This pattern, produced between 1988 - 1999, features elegant blue & pink flowers, scrolls & has a gold trim ~ the flowers have raised enamel, called jeweled enamel. This decorative technique is also referred to as "beading" when applied as small dots. For this fabulous ring I was able to capture one of those lovely "beading" flowers + a bit of scroll for you to enjoy!
This particular ring design was chosen from the platter, cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is added to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage porcelain.
The rectangle setting is antique silver plated brass & measures a little under 1" x 1/2"-3/4" and is adjustable to fit most any finger you might like to adorn with it!
*Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
