"Meurice" by Haviland Limoges Pendant Necklace

This very unique & fabulous vintage fine china/porcelain pendant was created from a scalloped coaster in a rare Haviland Limoges pattern, "Meurice" which was actively produced in France from 1967 - 1978. This pattern is fine bone china, featuring a central green floral & gold scroll motif, along with gold pinstripes & trim on the rim. It is just so lovely & with it's rarity, chances are slim I'll ever get lucky enough to find more in this pattern!
The design for this pendant was chosen, carefully cut out with ceramic tile nippers, then smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is added to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage porcelain piece.
Because of the gold accents in the design of this fabulous pattern, I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a gold toned long rectangular setting that measures 2 1/8" long, 1/2" wide.
The necklace I am offering for wearing this beauty is a 16" white & gold striped snake chain necklace with lobster claw closure + 3" extender chain.
*Aside from the necklace option I provided, you could also hang it from most any necklace you have in your jewelry box.
