This beautiful & totally fabulous antiqued silver adjustable ring was crafted out of a salad plate from the renowned porcelain maker Thomas of Bavaria, Germany. The Thomas mark on this plate was in use from 1939 to 1952, making it at least 70 years old! The rare pattern, called "Paradies, number 03563" features a colorful bird of paradise with a display of delightful flowers against a classic ivory background trimmed in gold with scalloped edges. For this ring, I was able to capture a few of the most awesome flowers for you to enjoy ~ and these flowers will never fade!

The design for this ring was chosen from the plate, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china.

I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a teardrop shaped antiqued silver over brass adjustable ring bezel. The setting measures just over 1 1/4" long x 1" wide. The ring is adjustable to fit most any finger you might like to adorn with it!

*Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
