"Ming Birds" by Lenox Bird Adjustable Ring

This gorgeous vintage china antiqued copper adjustable ring was created from a "Ming Birds" patterned bread plate by Lenox (USA). This pattern is known for its intricate design featuring a cream or white porcelain base with colorful birds, butterflies, floral motifs & a light blue scrollwork border. This is a discontinued pattern that has been produced in various versions over many decades. The "older" version typically features a black or green backstamp & was produced approximately between 1917 - 1963. For this stunning pendant, I captured one of those lovely birds as well as some of the pretty flowers for you to enjoy!
This particular ring design was chosen from the plate, cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is added to the edges to seal & protect the vintage china part of the ring.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a beautiful oval setting/bezel that is hammered antiqued copper that measures a little over 1.25" long x a little under 1" wide. The ring is adjustable to fit most any finger you might like to adorn with it!
