"Blue Peony" by Noritake Pierced Earrings

These stunning vintage china antiqued silver/sterling silver pierced earrings were created from a Noritake "Blue Peony" oval serving bowl (pattern# 7251). This gorgeous pattern features a central blue floral spray ~ including a large & lovely blue peony, a paneled border with blue florals & a grey/tan lattice or checkered background + a metallic platinum rim! This beautiful pattern was produced from 1978 through 1982. For these earring beauties I was able to capture some of those gorgeous florals for you to enjoy! :)
The design for these earrings was chosen from the bowl, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china china pieces.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain pieces into lovely round hammered antiqued silver over brass bezels that measure a little under 1" long (with loop) & 3/4" wide. With the French hooks, they hang around 1.75" long. The hooks are 925 sterling silver.
