"Blue Peony" by Noritake Adjustable Ring

This stunning vintage china antiqued silver adjustable ring was created from a Noritake "Blue Peony" oval serving bowl (pattern number 7251). This gorgeous pattern features a central blue floral spray ~ including a large & lovely blue peony, a paneled border with blue florals & a grey/tan lattice or checkered background & a metallic platinum rim! This beautiful pattern was produced from 1978 through 1982. For this super sweet ring I was able to capture some of those gorgeous florals for you to enjoy! :)
The design for this ring was chosen from the bowl, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china piece.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a rectangle shaped hammered antiqued silver over brass adjustable ring bezel. The setting measures just under 1" in length x 1/2" wide & it is adjustable to fit most any finger you might like to adorn with it!
