'China Garden' by Fine China of Japan Butterfly Adjustable Ring

This beautiful & totally fabulous antiqued silver adjustable ring was created from a gorgeous 'China Garden' porcelain plate by Fine China of Japan which features beautiful blue lattice work, fantastic orange fans & floral motifs with bird & butterfly designs. It was crafted from fine bone porcelain during the 1960s & includes gold trim details. For this ring, I was able to capture one of those happy butterflies, as well a pretty flower for you to enjoy!
The design for this ring was chosen from the plate, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china piece.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a rectangle shaped hammered antiqued silver over brass adjustable ring bezel. The setting measures just over 1.25" in length x 1/2" wide & it is adjustable to fit most any finger you might like to adorn with it!
*Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
