"Milos" by Rosenthal Dragonfly Pendant Necklace

This beautiful vintage china, antiqued gold pendant was created from a fabulous Rosenthal pattern, "Milos", featuring a beautiful dragonfly + blue grasses design, which was produced between 1985 -1993. “Milos” was designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Rosenthal's "Studio Line" & it is characterized by its beautiful dragonfly (sometimes referred to as "Libelle") with that gorgeous gold gilding! For this stunning pendant, I captured “Libelle” for you to enjoy! :)
The design for this ab~fab pendant was chosen from the plate, carefully cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is added to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china piece.
The large round setting/bezel is antiqued gold over brass & measures 1 3/4" long (with loop), 1 3/4" wide & 1/4" deep.
The necklace I am providing to wear this stunner is a 16" Aqua (glass) seed bead necklace with lobster claw clasp + 3" gold-toned extender chain.
*Aside from the necklace provided, you could also hang it from most any necklace you have in your jewelry box.
**Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
