This beautiful vintage antiqued silver adjustable cuff bracelet was created from a vintage Arta Imari fine porcelain decorative plate, featuring a hand-painted style illustration of birds resting on white flowering cherry blossom branches against a vibrant yellow background. These collectible Japanese porcelain pieces were sold in a set of 4 & are highly sought after for wall decor & display. This Arta Imari decorative plate was produced during the mid-to-late 20th century, most likely during the 1960s to 1980s. For this eye-catching bracelet I nipped out that beautiful bluebird & also captured some of those gorgeous cherry blossoms for you to enjoy!
The design for this ab~fab statement bracelet was chosen from the plate, carefully cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout was added to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china piece.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a fantastic antiqued silver plated brass square shaped cuff bracelet bezel that measures just a hair over 1" square. The bracelet is adjustable by squeezing the sides to fit.
